Chris Zintzen, Ph.D.
Geboren 1966, Kulturwissenschaftler, Autor, Kultur- und Wissenschaftsjournalist, Kulturpädagoge. Lebt & arbeitet in Wien.
Forschung/Publikationen zur Sozial-, Literatur-, Medien- und Diskursgeschichte, u.a. als Research Fellow am Internationalen Forschungszentrum für Kulturwissenschaften und als Stipendiat des Jubiläumsfonds der Stadt Wien/Österreichische Akademie der Wissenschaften. Forschung und Lehre am Institut für Germanistik der Universität Wien.
Neben Büchern und zahlreichen wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten hat Zintzen mehrere hundert Artikel und Rezensionen in der "Neuen Zürcher Zeitung", dem österreichischen "Standard" und in internationalen Kulturzeitschriften veröffentlicht. Er ist künstlerisch in den Bereichen Fotografie, Audiokunst und Video tätig.
Von 2001 bis 2014 war er Kurator und Produzent der Reihe "Literatur als Radiokunst" im ORF-Kunstradio.
Seit 2018 bietet er Textcoaching und wissenschaftliches Lektorat an, unterstützt bei Publikationen und setzt sich für Menschen mit Behinderung ein.

Chris Zintzen, Ph.D.
Born 1966, cultural scientist, author, cultural and science journalist, cultural educator. Lives & works in Vienna.
Research/publications on social, literary, media, and discourse history, among others as Research Fellow at the International Research Center for Cultural Studies and as fellow of the Jubilee Fund of the City of Vienna/Austrian Academy of Sciences. Research and teaching at the Institute for German Studies at the University of Vienna.
In addition to books and numerous academic papers, Zintzen has published several hundred articles and reviews in the "Neue Zürcher Zeitung", the Austrian "Standard" and in international cultural magazines. He works artistically in photography, audio art, and video.
From 2001 to 2014 he has been curator and producer of the series "Literature as Radio Art" on ORF "Kunstradio".
Since 2018, he is offering text coaching and academic reviewing, publication support, and works in support of people with disabilities.
